About to welcome baby Ella
This is just a quick post to keep my fingers and mind busy while we wait. They have been unable to stabilize my BP today. Everytime they lowered it, it jumped back up. The safest thing they can do for both me and Ella at this point is to deliver her. We're waiting for 6:00 and very shortly thereafter, baby Ella will be here. Thanks for the prayers and well wishes everyone. We still need them. Pray for strong lungs.

update!! compliments of facebook friend Meghan : Baby Ella is here! Christa's doula just called me. We don't know how much she weighs, but Constance says she is precious and tiny...AND BREATHING ON HER OWN! The staff were not rushing, they stopped to show the baby off and everything. Happy Birthday Baby Ella! I will update when I hear more, Christa is not to recovery yet but I should hear when she is.
ReplyDeleteAnother update; born October 2, 2010 at approximately 6:45 pm (exact time to come later). 2lbs 10oz and quite a bit more healthy and vigorous than expected. She bypassed the high level nicu and was admitted to the regular special care nursery.
